DEME Offshore US, LLC, established in 2019 and headquartered in Boston, MA, is a subsidiary of the DEME Group, one of the world’s leading offshore wind contractors headquartered in Belgium. DEME Offshore US is playing a leading role in the U.S. energy transition and is currently building Vineyard Wind, the nation’s first commercial scale offshore wind project. We are also contracted with Orsted on the South Fork project, Dominion Energy on the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind project, and Equinor/BP on the Empire Wind project.

Job Summary
The Site Support role is a part-time position, working up to twenty-eight (28) hours per week in the mornings. The Site Support will assist in the day-to-day logistics of a small marine yard, assisting the on-site project engineers with completing their tasks. The Site Support will focus on handling incoming and outgoing goods and supervise subcontractors that come onsite. The Site Support will work with a small, energetic team that is hands-on and has a problem-solving and a can-do mind set.

Responsibilities
- Follow work safety requirements and apply relevant safety mitigations.
- Working within a small internal logistics team, to ensure that all planned and unplanned activities are executed to the required standard and in line with agreed procedures.
- Follow day-to-day planning with the team ensuring all tasks are completed as required.
- Provide feedback to adjust planning where needed.
- Provide feedback on possible operational optimizations.
- Perform tasks such as:
o Greasing and cleaning of seafastening components.
o Small DIY repairs.
o Re-fueling of generators.
o Lashing items on a deck barge.
o Cleaning up deck barges.
o Cleaning up terminal site and help organize containers.
o Inspect equipment and report any perceived malfunction.
o Assist in stuffing of containers on the terminal.
o Escort subcontractors to their work site on the terminal.
o Collect and drop off small equipment (hand carried) using a company car.
o Function testing of equipment prior sail out of a deck barge.
o Check time sheets and delivery notes.

Required Qualifications
- Eligible to obtain TWIC Card - Transportation Worker Identification Credential.
- Valid US Driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to be standing for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
