Je plant samen met de transportafdeling de bevoorrading van de schepen via air, road en sea-transporten. Hierdoor sta je in nauw contact met de technische dienst van de schepen, onze interne transportafdeling en de arbeiders die de goederen klaarmaken voor verzending.

As an immersion specialist, you will be part of the team responsible for floating and positioning concrete tunnel elements or caissons, equipping them in the port, transporting them from temporary storage locations to the offshore site, and installing them at sea.
In the preparatory phase, you will be involved in the development of operation manuals, work plans, and coordination between teams to ensure smooth execution. In the operational phase, you will be part of the team that performs the immersion activities, ensuring the correct positioning of the elements or caissons on the seabed.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing insurance policies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and providing excellent support to clients and internal teams. As a Commercial Manager or Tender Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing international tenders and commercial opportunities and managing corresponding project proposals for complex offshore works. Under your leadership, your team shall analyze the project scope, and develop the engineering, the planning and the pricing.
As central point of contact you will establish strong relationships with (potential) clients during the whole process. You will lead and manage a tender team through application of our tender and acquisition processes; you will motivate and empower your tender team members from the various DEME Offshore specialists support departments, such as Engineering, Legal, Insurance, Finance, Project Controls. Through facilitating excellent team communication and efficiency, you will support ownership and maximize innovation, targeting a high-quality tender submission and contract. Finally, you and the tender sponsor will take the lead in tender clarifications and negotiations with clients after the submission of the tenders.
This position is based at our DEME Offshore Office in Breda, The Netherlands.
Qualitative execution of reclamation areas, ground improvement works, foundation constructions and ground retaining structures such as quay walls can only be guaranteed by first class design, execution planning, follow-up and checking/witnessing. Finally, this needs to be demonstrated by quality control testing and reporting to the employer.
The geotechnical engineer assists the tender team to recognize and solve all geotechnical related issues, both in tender stage as in execution stage. This will require full understanding of the requirements, translation into geotechnical requirements and geotechnical designs.
In execution stage, geotechnical engineers assist the project team to solve all specific geotechnical issues. This can be as on-site geotechnical engineer or from the DEME head office in Zwijndrecht
